There are two materials from which to build a boat trailer: steel and aluminum. Obviously, steel is usually stronger, but because it is a ferrous metal, it will rust. Aluminum if not properly cared for will corrode, but will not rust. Raw steel is a cheaper material than aluminum, but that doesn’t mean that all steel trailers are cheaper than their aluminum counterparts.
As a general rule, if you sail entirely in freshwater, it may be easier to get away with a steel trailer. Although you should be aware that it will rust if it leaves scratches in the paint.
On the other hand, if you are boating on the ocean, you should opt for an aluminum boat trailer because, as mentioned above, they do not rust and are completely durable if used properly.
At BAD 2D BONE TRAILERS, aluminum boat trailers are the best options to tow your boat.
